课程简介：

投资学是一门针对有志于日后从事于金融行业的本科学生所设的课程。好的投资决策是建立在了解金融市场，会做分析，能做数学推导的基础上的。因此本课程主要教授学生金融理论知识和应用，包括金融市场、金融理论应用、定量分析技巧、分析软件等对做投资决策有用知识和技巧。

教学目标和效果：

完成这门课程后，学生将能够：

1.了解金融市场理论和模型

2.知道如何选择金融市场和金融产品

3.掌握资产选择和资本配置技巧

4.会用统计软件或者EXCEL分析数据

Module Description：

Investment is intended for undergraduate students interested in a career in finance. A sound investment decision requires knowledge of the financial markets, analytical thinking and mathematical derivation. This course attempts to teach students theoretical finance and empirical evidence that are useful for investment decision focusing on empirical knowledge of financial markets, application of financial theories, quantitative skills for estimations and optimizations and analytical tools for data analysis.

Module Outcomes：

By the end of the module students should be able to:

1.gain a better understanding of financial theories and models

2.know to select financial markets and instruments

3.manage the skills of asset selection and capital allocation

4.use the statistics software or excel to analyze the data

Assessment：

2 hour examination (60%), work done during semester (40%), Attendance at tutorials is a required element of this module.
